Product Summary
The max642 is a set-up switching regulator. The max642 is designed for minimum component DC-DC converter circuit in the 5mW to 10W range. Low-power applications of the max642 require only an output filter capacitor and a small, low-cost inductor. The max642 is preset for +5V, +12V, and +15V outptus, respectively. Applications of the max64 include: simple, high-efficiency DC-DC converters, uninterruptible board-level power supplies, power conditioning for battery systems and portable instruments and communications.
